Oliver trotting on his 1st pony ‘Smokey’ | Craig and Prue have been based in the Hunter Valley since 1989 and have been married since 1997. In this time we have pursued and achieved competition success at the highest level of Eventing with wins at all major Australian 3 Day Events. We have been based at Sandhills since 1999 which is the ideal location to pursue our equestrian enterprise.
We both are committed to our breeding program to produce top quality performance horses for Australia and overseas.
Craig has produced many Advanced eventers which have been sold within Australia and overseas to compete successfully.
Some of these include:
Dusky Sky an Advanced eventer, who represented Australia in the Trans Tasman Team and was then sold to the United Kingdom and successfully competed at Badminton and Burghley.
Elusive Warlock an Advanced eventer, winner of Melbourne 3DE and sold to Japan and competed subsequently for Japan at the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
Elusive Gold an Advanced eventer, sold to Japan.
Elbacee Masterpiece an Advanced eventer, winner of Melbourne 3DE and then sold to the United Kingdom. |
Prue has the interest in breeding well established in her blood! Prue's late mother, Jennifer Cribb (nee Young) was the daughter of Charles Young who established the Barolin Pony Stud.
Jennifer Cribb had a passion for jumping and eventing and with 3 daughters desperately wanting to ride, established a Connemara Pony stud. As the daughters grew taller, she redirected her breeding program towards the performance horse.
She had great success and some of her horses include:
Carmody St who represented Australia with Felicity Cribb at the World Equestrian Games at The Hague, Saumur in France as well as competing at Badminton and Burghley in the United Kingdom.
Cadenza a Grand Prix dressage horse competed by Lea Biermann.
Harvest Moon a Grand Prix dressage horse competed by Brett Davies.
Waitaki a stallion who sold for $21,000 as a 5 yo to be an eventer. |
Craig and Prue are pursuing a breeding program based on this success and are continuing to use the Cdiamond1 brand which has been passed on to Prue by her parents.
After many years of concentrating solely on her competitive career, Prue has now taken on a slightly different role at Sandhills with the arrival of Oliver 1st April 2004.
Prue is extensively involved in the NSW Institute of Sport Scholarship Program and coaches regularly at Squad Clinics and at all 3 day events around Australia.
